HPS stands for High Precision and Speed –\u00a0<\/b>this mount can achieve a satellite tracking and positioning speed of 12 degrees\/sec, with an average positioning accuracy of <20″ and a tracking accuracy of approx 1″\/15min (peak to peak).<\/p>\n

The mount is also equipped with\u00a0high-precision absolute encoders<\/b>\u00a0on both axes – this opens up entirely new possibilities. The mount will never lose its orientation, even if you manually move the telescope – no new alignment is necessary, even after a power failure. In portable operation, the mount is faster and easier to set up and north-align than any conventional equatorial mount.<\/p>\n
